2**Star Sports Diver (Cold Water)

The ITDA / SDA are the currently the only agency in the world that make limitations on certification based on environmental training conditions and divers actual abilities.

As an ITDA or SDA (Sports Diving Agency) Cold Water trained diver, you may dive in any other environments based on your training and certification levels. But if you are trained and certified in a resort environment you MUST upgrade to the Cold Water Module (2**Star) before engaging in Cold Water Diving.... This is a required standard for diver safety and will help to reduce dive accidents.
