Resort Diver Training Programs

Our first level for full diver certification and a
higher grade than the PADI Open Water Diver is our unique "Resort Diver
Program", from just two (2) or three (3) Days training to: Resort Diver...
With six (6) open water divers, rescue skills, and basic
decompression theory this is an excellent program. (also specialist activities
designed just for this level as Intro - Levels.)
Benefits of the ITDA Resort Diver Certification include:
- Basic Diving Theory Covering: Physics, Physiology and Dive Planning
- Use of Dive Tables for Safe Diving
- Basic Rescue Skills Practice
- Training Depth limit of 20m/66ft.
- Introduction to Specialist Diving
- Upgrade path directly to Sports Diver
Safety and standards limitations of our unique training program.
 Resort
Diver is limited to "Supervised Diving Only" by a Dive
Leader or Instructor, or any Agency Dive Master, equal level or above... Until
10 Open Dives Experience is attained. This limitation is for your safety, as the
majority of accidents occurring to newly certified divers are between certifying
and dive 10... After 10 Dives experience you just make a short application and
the restriction is lifted and you will receive a new card...
A very good alternative is to add experience dives after your certifying
dives, just four (4) more dives and your instructor will certify you as
unrestricted.
If you do not have time or the budget, no problem... As the supervised
restriction at this level does not normally cause any problems, because most of
your dives will be accompanied dives or led dives anyway... Most dive
schools and centres have dive leaders or dive masters to lead the dives
anyway....
